It's illegal in 96% of the country. Who are you or I to decide what drugs are OK to take illegally and what drugs it's not?

If these guys are that dumb and undisciplined, then maybe they shouldn't be given this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Maybe its all for the better. They might actually live a long healthy life.......

Plus, they didn't fail a field sobriety test. they failed a drug test. What kind of asinine analogy is drinking to doing drugs.

you haven't done either, so to say its stupid just reflects your extensive personal experiences.

A diluted sample isn't really a fail, that's bullshit. If I was that QB I'd have a lawyer on them for defamation of character if that hurt my draft spot.

Lawyer for what? You don't see other guys coming back from injury having the same issue. If the test results come back as inconclusive because of a diluted sample it was intentional. You have to drink that much water that it goes beyond having cramps.

Its illegal in some places and not others. Does that make any sense? Its decriminalized in most states and medicinally approved by nearly half. Its not a PED, rather a pain reliever. These guys go through intense physical training and some are probably battling injuries. I rather have my player smoking weed than taking pain pills. Its 2014, cmon.

Really?

Same can be said if these players are gambling on sports.

Gambling on sports even if not your own can lead to major debt and point shaving. Smoking a joint after practice i can see doing the same thing....:smoker2:

We can't but the owner of the business in which they are about to enter can and that's all that really matters.

When it comes to employment, employers can have certain guidelines that must be followed.

I for example have taken and passed many drug tests.

My perspective employer shouldn't move the bar because I can't say "no" to drugs.

These guys are clearly making the choice that they would rather be druggies than get good NFL contracts.

I'm subject to random drug testing all the time as well.

Haha......

Your first 7 words confirmed that you know that I am right and you don't have a valid argument against my previous posts.

Drug addiction can lead to major debt also. What if the player smokes a doob before the game? Same difference in my book. If I am the one cutting the paycheck I don't want to see either!
