Montgomery Mayor: If you need an ICU bed, you're in trouble......

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed says a recent spike in coronavirus cases is straining the city's hospitals and some COVID-19 patients are now being diverted to Birmingham. Watch the video above to hear Reed's comments on the state of hospitals in the video above.


"Right now if you're from Montgomery and you need an ICU bed, you're in trouble," Reed said at a news conference. "If you're from central Alabama and you need an ICU bed, you may not be able to get one because our health care system has been maxed out."
