Explanation for tonight's game is pretty simple for me. The favorite in this series of a 4 points or better is 1-8 ats. Oakland is a desperate team that their season is on the line. This game reminds me a lot of last year's MNF with Denver where Oakland came out and spanked them. As a franchise, KC has never won 7 games in a row. KC will be playing their 3rd road game out of the last 4 games played. Oakland is getting back both Jerry Porter and Mo Collins in this game which should get the offense back to something close to resembling last year's offense. KC's house of horrors has been recently Oakland where Raiders have won 4 straight. I think though the most important facet of this game is Oakland's kicking game. The strength of Janikowski's leg on kickoffs and Lechtler's leg on punting (been best punter in league this year) should at least slow down Dante Hall. Oakland's overall ats this year is 0-6 which tells me they are due to cover a game.

0-2 ats home (Cincinnati, San Diego)
0-4 ats road (Tennessee,Denver,Chicago,Cleveland)

Oakland will come out hot tonight and score with a KC late flourish to cover over.

Final Score: Oakland 31 Kansas City 24
