Looking at this game gives me mixed emotions. Both teams have defensive positions to fill & players from both squads will be trying to secure a spot. The Saints LB Corp in particular, were a serious battle is being raged for both starting OLB positions.

At QB for the Eagles A.J. Feeley and Koy Detmer will get the brunt of the snaps. On the other side of the ball will be Todd Bouman who is giving Aaron Brooks all he can handle in camp. Fact is I have been to 2 open practices & Bouman has looked great & AB has looked just plum awful, overthrowing & underthrowing wrs.

After saying this I have no pick on this game whatsoever. I don't even have a lean on the total..... This game is a no play for me!

Pro I disagree with you completely and totally. Expect to see a highly charged Saints team take the field! Although I am not making a play on this game I like the Saints in the first half.

Now some info:

Sitting for the Saints tonight will be running back Deuce McAllister, right guard LeCharles Bentley, cornerback Dale Carter and linebacker Darrin Smith.

Also Tight End David Sloan, linebacker Curtis Holden, linebacker Cie Grant, defensive tackle Henry Ford, running back Tavian Banks and offensive tackle Scott Sanderson also are expected to sit out while recovering from minor injuries.

QB rotation should be as follows Brooks, Bouman, Woodbury, & O'Sullivan

A quote from Haslett

"We want to win the game. It doesn't matter if it's dominoes, tiddlywinks or basketball, if you're a competitor you want to win the game. That's first and foremost."

Before I head out on a beer run.

My reasoning behind this pick is a seriously fired up Saint squad. Now that can be taken two ways, one they go out and try to do to much and bad things happen, two, they go all out and make some solid plays putting points on the board. I think it will be the latter. Here's how I see this thing shaking out. This might be a great game to make
some $ on. I think the Saints take the first half & the Eagles with their depth at QB take the second half. I may end up playing both sides in this game before it is over. That is all the value here in this game that I can find.

Later its drinking time!

Well I had it backwards tonight & thanks to a not so easy bail out play in the second half, makes it a little easier to swallow! Congrats to the Eagle bettors!
