Did Carolina provide a bluepring for beating Tampa. Perhaps, but if Edge is a little banged up I don't see the Colts pounding the middle of the buc line all game long. The Saints in the past had great success Pounding! on the Buc front four, and I think the Panters showed that you can do that and still beat them.
This is a tough defense to try and score a bunch of points on. Indy is built to throw the ball first and foremost, and mix it up with James. The running game is a big ? tonight.
We all know the Buc O is very average. Keyshaun and Brad are ok, just enough not to lose games, and the running backs are not flashy, but also do just enough to win and let the D hang on (kind of like Dilfer and the ole' Ravens did. Indy D has played top notch so far this year. Dungy has them believing in themselves. Both teams have exellent kickers, although the Tampa special teams has been suspect this year.
Tampa is at home in the heat, Indy is a dome team that doesn't always play well on grass. They struggled bad with Cleveland. Manning should be good for a copule of picks tonight (just my opinion). Tampa is 12-5 against the AFC. They are the defending Super Bowl champs, and it is Monday night...
It's hard to go against them tonight. I'll go with a majority of the board and play the favorite to bounce back (see Pittsburgh).
Tonight Play:
Tampa -4.5
Over 37. (if Indy does score, it will push the total over the number, this is a hedge).
G/L to ya!
BTF.
