NFL : 2* PHILADELPHIA

The Philadelphia Eagles have clinched home field throughout the playoffs and just like the Falcons yesterday are missing a vital cog in the offense as Terrell Owens will be watching for the duration unless Philly can overcome his loss and go to Jacksonville. Unlike the Falcons, the Eagles still have a QB who has completed 63% of his passes for more than 3800 yards and 30 TD against only 8 INT.

Andy Reid has said that McNabb will share PT these next couple of games so that leaves Koy Detmer and his 3 incomplete passes to try and move this offense. They’ll both have Freddie Mitchell, Greg Lewis and Todd Pinkston (60-1073-TD) to throw to as well as Brian Westbrook who has 812 yards rushing with 3 TD and is 2nd on the team with more than 700 receiving yards and 6TD.

Defensively is where the Eagles will win this game tonight by forcing turnovers and pinning the Rams deep. Marc Bulger is good to go tonight but the pivot out of WVA may be a little gun shy after hitting the turf 36 times this season and facing a team that has recorded 45 this season.

The Rams have struggled without their QB the last couple of weeks but even prior to Bulger’s injury they hadn’t performed up to par. Marshall Faulk will have to deal with the #11 rushing defense in the league tonight after carrying the ball for 35 yards on 30 carries his last 3 games.
