I think SHORE RUNNER is a solid choice. Velasquez has been hot the last month, winning at a nifty 16 percent rate. Had one of the best Equibase Speed Figs of this field in his last race. Vaunts solid Equibase Speed Figures on average overall when compared with the rest of this group. INDY SEA - Is difficult not to consider based on Equibase speed figs which have been strong - 89 avg - of late. Looks very strong to be on the lead at the first call. WALLY DID IT - This equine is highly ranked this group of animals in earnings per start at the distance/surface.

I think RONTOS' CODE is a competitive choice. Has very good Equibase speed figs and has to be considered for a wager for this event. Will most likely be one of the early speedsters of the pack going into the halfway point of the contest. Could best this field based on the Equibase Speed Fig - 79 - of his last affair. TUBAL - Must be considered here on the basis of the figs in the speed realm alone. Handler has strong win rate (30 percent) at this distance and surface. CANUSPELLPATIENCE - Ought to go to the lead and could never look back. Has to be given a shot here on the basis of the figures in the speed department alone.

Well folks ... fans have become accustomed to Todd Pletcher dominating the New York circuit, but that had to start somewhere. Jersey Girl's influence continued to be felt in New York through her son, Jersey Town, winner of the G1 Cigar Mile and G2 Kelso. Here in the initial running of this stakes race, #3 OUR AMAZING ROSE qualifies as a TrackMaster PLUS "PowerPony," is the overall speed leader in this field sprinting at 6.0 furlongs on the dirt, and has posted a pair of "POWER RUN WINS" in her three career starts to date. Hard not to favor SAND SUMMERFIELD as the top pick here so don't let the high morning line scare you off. Good for a win wager just off the great prior class markings. Have to like this harness racer. The number crunching team noted a very strong event out of this contender last time. Looking for a duplicate of that to end up in the winner's circle. Deserves a shot given the better than average win percentage he sports. MOVEOUTOFMYWAY - Take a look at this contender's average speed figure of 92 and compare to today's class rating. Looks like a really good wager. This race horse looks strong considering the high class numbers. We wouldn't recommend tossing out of any exotics. ROCKAVELLIAN - Look for Garcia-Herrera and this standardbred to score in this race. Excellent in the money rate for the trainer/horse combination. We're not going to pass on this gelding given one of the most respectable driver-trainer figures around.
