Delaware vs. Hofstra
Hofstra-15½

I'm recommending a play on Hofstra minus the points on Monday night. This marks the second time this season we have backed the Pride. Hoftsra is playing well and will face a Delaware team that's in major rebuilding mode. The Blue Hens finished last season on a 19-2 run before falling to Michigan State in the opening round of the Big Dance. There will be no dancing for the Blue Hens this season, unless they pull off a small miracle and win their conference postseason tourney. Delaware is 1-11 to start the season, including 0-7 on the road. They rank 346th in FG percentage, 308th in points scored per game, and 332nd in points allowed per game. They can't shoot and have had a horrible time defending the deep perimeter where they have allowed the opposition to make 39% of their 3-point attempts. Hofstra has four players averaging between 19 ppg and 11 ppg, and Juan'ya Green is an absolute nightmare of a matchup, not only averaging over 17 ppg, but also dishing out 90 assists with just 28 turnovers. The Pride lost all three meetings to Delaware last season, including a conference tourney loss that ended their campaign. I expect this contest to get ugly early and stay that way. Hofstra is on a 10-3 ATS run at home against teams with a losing record, while the Blue Hens enter on a 1-8-1 ATS slide against teams with a winning record. I'm laying the points with Hofstra on Monday night. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

Wofford vs. Chattanooga
Wofford-1½

Wofford (10-4) over UT Chattanooga (9-6)...Although visiting Wofford is 5-0 SU at home, 3-4 away, I still like their chances against the Mocs tonight. Wofford is 12-3-1 ATS vs. the Southern Conference and return 4 starters from a 20-13 season. UTC has three starters returning from an 18-15 season. The Mocs hit the hardwood 8-1 SU at home with key losses overall to Wisconsin, Georgia and Butler. They have struggled in those games at different intervals losing by inflated numbers. The Mocs and Terriers have like kind statistics. UTC is rated #175 in FG% (42.9%), while Wofford comes in #158 FG% (43.3%). From the charity stripe, the Mocs are hitting 69.5%, Wooford 65.7%. From the key three-point range the Mocs are decent at 34.6%, while the Terriers have been more effective shooting 37.9%. Wofford has the stronger backcourt which is a key advantage as a visitor. From an emotional standpoint this is DOUBLE REVENGE for Wofford who lost both games in the series last year. Our adjusted RPI numbers show UTC at 0.4892 vs. Wofford 0.6012. With the Terriers having more floor advantages, take the visitor tonight...Good Luck.
