Looking over the program and there SHOULD be 4 or 5 good races. Will be back with something up my sleeve.

Yesterdays "layoff" resulted in a late trip to the OTB and an "across the board/Exactor/Trifecta win on the first race I bet.($525) I got up went over to the 25 cent slot machine to kill 5 mins and hit $500

I think that I'll try for a few tonight before it strikes 12 and I turn into a pumpkin

Nice qualifiers tonight. What works in our favour FINALLY is that these guys have to finish 1-2 in order to move on to the bigger money. Nobody should be "satisfied" to take a third or a fourth tonight


Race1: #6 Misty Lavec WPS

#3 Tara Ballylee & #1 Brontes Image will be nearby. Might be exotic possibilities.

Race2: #6 Grin Tin Tin WPS

This horse makes me money. She'll be in with a pile of "disappointers" - expect chalk here. I'll be taking what I can from the WPS but will be looking for some higher priced friends to fill exotics
#4 Our Lucky Killean , #3 I'maLuckyCam are two
good options. They should be in the 5-1 range and might give good P/S money (idea)
UpfrontRustler may take interest but has had a few breaks as of late so I'll back off


Race3: NotQuite There #1 (W)

Dropping class tonight should make it easy for him. I'll look at McLaren Vale (#2) as runner up. #9 & #4 are good exotic horses here as well

Race4: #8 Apache Limo

*** This is a tough race. No real standouts. Apache has had some bad luck and is better than his resume. Waples should hold it together tonight
Look for Armbro Balmoral @ big price for some action.
**watching "MrMidnight for a BIG price and maybe a few $$ on him as a long.


Race 5: #3 Tajma HAll
Another "fringe Race". I am not going heavy on him as he HAS disappointed me before. Maybe it is his night.

Race6: #8 PutaSmileOn WPS
Not sure about chalk here.
Will decide on a show bet to go with W/P based on that.
This could be a longshot buffet for the exotic.
I am backing #5 Groovy Day as logical 2nd.
Grand Hall & IamIsaid take show. Exotics should be money.


Race7: #9 War Paint WPS

More big odds on the board.
I think #6 Trotting Yankee" and Lexus Hall (#5) as maybe a high odds 2nd.

Last week "Grintintin" took out this colt but tonight she hasn't him to contend with. Let's get in into Gear!

Anyway,

Just a small suggestion to those looking at the Mohawk card. The weather up here has been brutal the last few hours. Rain is pouring down and I am waiting to see what the prognosis is on the track. EXPECT real sloppy conditions tonight meaning EITHER look at the program and give the edge to "front runners" OR go easy at the start and get a feel for what this night will bring. Could be a mess.
I do not think "closers" will have an easy job though. Look for fast 1/4 and 1/2 fractions for your top picks.
