RPM/General - thanks for the responses. Can you please keep us updated on this situation or are we stuck bumping this one (like the old one) for the forseeable future. Someone has now started a 3rd thread about this situation, so much easier to get the answers you promise and move on. Until you deal with people trying to protect themselves BEFORE they get their money taken you don't realize how powerful this site is. I know General helps them after they get stiffed but many folks are just as concerned now before it happens to them. Some of that fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me stuff. People were following this thread on a day to day basis waiting for Ken's answer he had promised on it. I got a call at 6AM that the thread had disappeared by someone literally screaming into the phone at me in disbelief. Don't know if it helps but nothing was down that night or no other problems to any other threads was noted. To some it seems like nitpicking to keep bringing this up but the old thread had very useful information in it that players playing off-shore need. Without accussing anyone of anything it is very disturbing that Ken ignored this thread as long as he did even after promising an answer on it. Finally the whole thing vanished in thin air and no one knows anything about it....
As reasonable people can you not see why some people are concerned? This site is open just for these types of things and when a problem at a book comes up EVERYONE wants to see all the info we can get. When a watchdog site somehow has a thread this size about one of their advertisers disappear into thin air it is very discomforting. Once we get positive we can never duplicate it there is a small chance someone on another site has a copy of it. Wouldn't count on it but it is possible. Many of them play at BoDog (and like it) so were waiting patiently for Ken's answer....

RPM - take a deep breath. I complimented you, not sure why you are typing in all capitals or would be angry over this?? If you can find the thread what will I say? I will be very happy. I am pulling for this place to "find" the thread.

He claims it was after the changeover that this thing disappeared and the rest of the page was unchanged. If he is wrong and there were a lot of threads in off-shore that disappeared that night then he is wrong. Who cares if he is or not? Let's not worry about wrong or right for now and focus on finding it if we can. Not much gets done here because we often find people in power getting invlolved in meaningless stuff while the big issues get ignored. This is very important stuff here for the players.....

fair enough. and all im asking is that you stop posting accusations with nothing to back them up.
btw, the thread would have disapeared AFTER the server swap. when we first came back online, all the old topics from like the year 2000 were front page in all the forums. and all the new stuff was nowhere to be found. as time went by, things started coming back.
some things have never returned to normal.
did you ever look at the contest forum like i asked you to?
