I'll start some now.... but like I said, the meaty stuff and the reason I knew to play this already I can't announce. The parameters I can't really discuss.
Some inside/outside the box thinking....
Carolina has had a special season there is no denying that. Any 15-1 team is a special team, this is the 6th in the history of the league. So that is special. Those teams have fared pretty interestingly, with none of these juggernauts losing in the superbowl. When they have got there, they have won(2-0). One of the greatest teams of all time( 98 vikings) lost in OT in the conference championship when they had a double digit lead in the 4th quarter. Only one 15-1 team has lost in the divisional round of the playoffs off a bye(2011 packers). The other two lost in the championship round at home. so 15-1 teams at home are 2-2 SU in this game.
There are 10 games in the nfl playoffs not including the sb. 4 have already had pts matter. Never have we had 5 in 10 games. Never.
Also something weird is never have we had back to back years where pts have mattered in one of the championship games ( packers/seahawks last year) Considering only 7 have mattered since 94 in this round.
Just looking at the schedules. It is easy to see Carolina had a hell of a year. But Arizona who finished the season with only a 9-7 ats record hasn't had 3 straight failed covers since Bruce Arians has taken over as head coach of this football organization. What!!!!!!!?
Anyone who watched "A football life" with Bruce Arians saw how he motivated his team after their 2 game slide last year. I'mmmmmmmmmm about to whipppppp somebodyysssss Assssssssss. Ooohhhh I'm about to whip somebody's assssss. Ohhh if you don't leave me aloneeee, you're going to have to send me home. Cuzzzz I'm about to whip somebodysss assssssssssssss
And they did.
Perception wise, Carolina are juggernauts. They are the NFC champs already. MVP cam newton.... DPY in Josh Norman. It would be too great of a year for Carolina if they made it to the superbowl and according to history, they'll win. They dethroned Seattle who was going for a 3rd straight NFC championship. Storybook cinderalla endings happen for those who deserve it, a russel wilson, a kurt warner, hopefully peyton, not a 6"5 man child. Sorry, the king of the NFC stays in the West.
that's just a warmup
