Every week there is a game like this - every week. And how many times does the favorite cover in this situation? I don't know, but I sure know one thing - you won't get rich betting MNF favorites on the road against a wounded division rival away every time they look too good to be true.

If one more person says there is no way Oakland can win this game I am going to bet another dime on Oak.

This game reminds of Denver at Baltimore last year in an early season Monday night game.

Denver came in 3-0, Baltimore was 0-2 and scored 7 points total in their first two games.

Balt 34 Den 23

I had Balt +7.5

Attaboy, Chuck! lol - man, if you could get over your hate for SIA, you could have gotten that juicy +5.5 +105 ... yeah, they can be a royal pain in the ass, but in the end as far as I know they've always paid. I'd still be doing 'em doggie-style except for the booting

As i said, Anyone who thought Oakland could win, not even cover, but win was insane. This team may have played close here, but this score was no where near what it should have been, a real indication of the scoreboard lying.

Anyway, Fairly easy win, never not covering...

WAAY too close of an ending though! LOL

Baloney, with all due respect, Brock. Oakland could have won if they'd scored that TD, KC has a habit of letting teams score late. There would be no mention of insanity if that Raider had been a yard deeper, got to OT, won the toss and drove down for a FG - improbable ending, yes, but improbable endings are a dime a dozen in the NFL. KC was playing against the BACKUP QB who picked them apart late.

The Chiefs dominated most of the game, and this time it turned out to be enough, but I can guarantee you that if they keep pulling this shit of letting teams score late, they'll regret it - and I mean DEEP in the season or even playoffs.

p.s. I had nothing on this game and I'm a KC fan

p.p.s. The only score KC got with their vaunted offense in the 2nd half was an 11 yd drive off a muffed punt.

I hear you Jazz, But think about the analogy of looking at a box score, you see a 7 point win, and thats all you will ever see. So people who were talking today, getting cute and taking Oakland JUST because KC was suposedly a "public" play, is just wrong. I say, and said earlier that KC was the obvious play, the only play, and I glad it worked out that way, anyone who got cute got burned.

AND KC is still 7-0 and Oakland is 0-7 ATS, that fact won't change.
