Rare 5* play for me.
San Jose Earthquakes UNDER 1 -152
risking 5 units to win 3.3 units
SJ average 0.8 goals/game overall
SJ average 0.7 goals/game away
Under 1 is 7-4-1 for SJ
Quakes scored 2 goals in their first road game. Since then they have scored 0,0,0,1,2,0 away from home.
They have been blanked in each of their last 2 games.
• "I'm disappointed we gave up a goal. We're working hard on getting a clean sheet but we haven't gotten a clean sheet yet and that's troublesome. So there are still some things to fix," DC United head coach Tom Soehn said. Said Devon McTavish "It's something that's kind of driving us crazy. We practice it every week and we're trying to get better but for some reason we always have some little letdown that lets a ball in. But it's getting better -- I don't think we're letting [in] soft goals as we had been earlier in the season."
• Soehn also pointed to the improved play of goalkeeper Zach Wells as a key to the recent run. "He's manning the box a little bit more," said Soehn. "He's more decisive in the decisions he makes and that's what we've asked of him. He's starting to do that."
• Said Wells: "I think now I understand what's expected of me as the goalkeeper for D.C. United. It's a little bit different than what was expected of me at New York and [Houston]. I think we're just starting to figure out where I fit in with the team and we're doing a better job of communication between myself and the coaches and what's expected, and that's translating on the field in success and confidence."
also played DC United -1 -110
They're playing well again now after a tough stretch just prior. A win here and they can move into a tie with Chicago and New York with 19 points
good luck
