strangely enough I've really just concentrated on sides for the past few months but today only totals stick out to me. But, since I find totals to be less predictable than sides I just have small bets.

Toronto vs DC United
- TFC haven't scored a goal in 400 minutes of football and DC United haven't scored a road goal in 396 minutes of football. DC with 5 of last 6 road games played under and the only over was a goal scored by RSL in 94th minute for 3-0 final. Toronto 12-5 to the under when playing at home in 2010 in any competition and have had a murderous schedule so fatigue can easily set in. TFC are dead last in the league in shots attempted and DC are dead last in the league in total goals, road goals, first half goals, and second half goals. TFC are tied for dead last in first half goals scored and their average of .61 goals scored in first half is lowest in MLS. DC's season ended in last week's MLS cup loss and their display at home vs Columbus was nothing short of pathetic as they registered exactly ZERO shots on goal while allowing just 2. Unless DC have entirely quit on season I don't see more than 1 goal in this one

Toronto under 2.5 2.3u -130

RBNY vs Colorado
- these teams have played some wildly entertaining matches, particulary in NY, and 30 goals have been scored in past 5 meetings. Earlier this year Colorado just dominated RBNY but drew 1-1 on July 4 as they missed a ton of chances. Since then RBNY have picked up Thierry Henry and Rafa Marquez and are playing some excellent football though missing plenty of chances themselves like the 23 shots on Chicago without scoring. NY are 9 points clear of a playoff spot, Colorado 6 points clear, so I don't expect any real slow play. Red Bulls have played 5 straight home unders but Colorado have scored in 6 of last 7 road games and conceded in all but 1 of those. The Red Bulls are 2nd in the league in shots attempted and last in the league in shots allowed so hard to see their under streak continuing especially now with so many excellent offensive players. Colorado really strong in scoring away and just 1 goal from them is needed to push this over. This will either be an incredibly frustrating 1-1 with 30+ shots or a crazy 4-3 type game depending on the finishing. Colorado are #1 in the league in shooting % so deadly with minimal chances while RBNY have best attacking mf and forwards in MLS.

RBNY over 2.25 2.75u -110

Philadelphia vs Chicago
- Philly have scored in all but 1 home game this season and conceded in all of them while the Fire are the top road scorer in MLS with 16 goals scored in last 9 trips so I have no doubts both teams will score. Bad goalkeeping and poor finishing have ruined Philly's shot at the playoffs while Fire are playing 3rd match in a week. Philly's avg 2.8 gpg at home while Chicago 3.5 gpg on road and Philly would love to get Le Toux the golden boot in their inaugural season. Chicago theoretically a much more potent offense with Freddie L though the midweek 0-0 wasn't a great sign for them. Philly play open and relaxed at home and with the worst and 4th worst defenses going at it there will be goals. Chicago's top defender, Segares, is suspended for match while Philly have 2 defenders out.

Keep up the good work. I like your writeups and look for your MLS plays each week.

I am still shaking my head at my Blackpool/Newcastle bet not going over 2.5 after watching the replay.
