Toronto FC vs Seattle
- yes I'm well aware that I've lost 2 bets on Seattle to start the season but those matches were at home in front a very raucous crowd. TFC have started the year well, winning at KC and drawing at MLS Champs Columbus. Neither team with any significant injuries though I don't know how interested Seattle will be in using Ljungberg on this horrible TFC surface being that he is just coming back from injury, and has not played nearly 90 minutes for many, many months. TFC are a team that is loaded with MF and attacking talent but with a shaky back 4, which is the only reason this is not a 10/10. Montero, Seattle's striker, has shown great speed and ability and so certainly concerned about his counters. I really like TFC's squad and DeRosario/Guevara is a monster attacking MF duo. TFC's midfield vs Seattle's midfield is a gross mismatch and this will be Seattle's first ever road game as a franchise. I don't think Seattle will win more than 5 more matches all year so clearly I say back TFC...

yes June looks like, while the team is saying Fredy did not travel due to illness, they may be masking a much bigger story...

Montero Linked To Sexual Assault, Stalking Allegations
Fredy Montero, the Sounders FC forward who won Seattle's affections last month for helping our new MLS team stay undefeated for our first two games, is probably going to be under formal investigation for an alleged sexual assault and consequent stalking incident involving a 23-year-old woman on the Eastside. Though the Bellevue Police Department won't name names about the subject of their investigations until they've filed charges, SeattlePI.com did get a confirmation that the woman called BPD with her allegations about Montero.

Chivas USA vs Columbus
- this would seem to be two teams going in opposite directions but I see it differently. CUSA have played two horrendous matches but are 2-0-0 thanks to awful finishing by Dallas and Colorado. CUSA was outshot 30-12 in those games but by some miracle were not losing by at least 2 at HT. They have injuries all over the pitch, using two new strikers (Galindo, Braun, Razov all hurt), a backup goalie, and a makeshift back four. They are solid in midfield though but that should not be enough to beat the MLS champs. You wouldn't know it by the 4 goals they allowed on Thursday but Cbus are a very good defensive team and their coach said even allowing one tonight is too many, so expect a conservative match. The Crew are getting healthier and will be almost full except for starting RFB, Hejduk, on the bench. While normally I would not play a MLS team that had a midweek game this is a great opportunity for the Crew to forget that 4-1 match at RSL where their all-MLS goalie, Hesmer, played like a backup.
