I think, at least from watching the media, I am in the minority on these topics. I personally like the 7 inning double headers. I also liked the automatic runner on 2nd. I thought the games moved quicker and it made extra innings fun. I do not like the shifts that they do but at the same time these major league hitters should be able to adapt and hit opposite field or whatever. I know it is not popular but simply placing a bunt could really mess these shifts up. It makes me wonder it really does because if you can lay down a good bunt with some of these ridiculous shifts it is an automatic base. Who cares? I mean the object of the game is to win right? Herm Edwards said that. Anyways, I am for change in sports if it adds to the game or draws more interest. If you hate the rules could someone explain why these rules are terrible. I mean I get that some do not like change, really, I do, but was it really that bad for the game? I am interested in why people hate these rules?
