No when you get this close and for all that money you have to do the smart thing and the odds thing and thats taking players while they are hot and have confidence not when they are in a slump and feel like shit come on!!

heh...An 0 for 5 in the previous night's game is hardly a Slump.

It's simply a correction on any hitter going at even .350 or more

.350 is 7 hits in 20 AB

If the guy gets six hits in two games of 10 AB, the fact he then goes 1 for his next 10 isn't a Slump. It's still 7 for 20.

I'll check back and prove this theory in about 54 days since my own current Streak is sitting at 2 games as of July 4 games.

Does it make me a bad person if I'm rooting for him to lose?
i'm a hater as far as BTS goes. i'm glad he lost, esp with the confusion w/the day he supposedly didn't make a selection. seemed really fishy. ichiro at home vs the lefty, kenny rogers. dumb pick, can't believe he got as far as he did.:toast:

BTS leader's streak ends at 48 games

BTS season leader spooky93 saw his historic streak snapped at 48 games Friday night, as Ichiro Suzuki went 0-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch in his fourth and final at-bat. Ironically enough, in his third at-bat, Ichiro grounded out to Tigers second baseman Placido Polanco, who was the all-time BTS leader's pick when his streak ended at 49 games last summer.

spooky93 entered the night's play a mere two games short of setting the all-time Beat the Streak mark and just nine games shy of the $1,000,000 grand prize.

The new longest streak is 31 games.

You should read closer.

I cited an example of a guy who is 7 for his last 20.

The guy who is 11 for 20 is begging for an OhFer, btw

And the "million is not on the line" until you reach 56 days. Until then, only Zero is on the line.

Wow

This dude will never get such a shot at 1M in his life

But if you think about it, him getting another 10 games in a row has to be at like hitting a 10 teamer with 1-1 odds on each if you think about it
