Because they have the absolute worst coaching staff in the NFL by miles. It's not even close if you ask me. They saw Phil Dawson kick a 56 yarder so automatically assumed that Rian Lindell could do the same thing. Wtf was that? They run on first down. On second down you have to pass to know if you need to pass again on third down. Nope...they run two more draw plays to settle for field goal...with 44 seconds left. What the hell is that? Even if Lindell makes the FG, they give Cleveland plenty of time to win.
I don't know what to say man. There is not a more clueless coaching staff. They can't even run a proper shotgun offense yet they think the wildcat is a good idea on first down (three consecutive series). Jesus Christ what are you doing? For the second week in a row, not a single ball thrown deeper than 10-15 yards (not even an attempt).
You are at home, its the end of the game, you have the crowd, throw the damn ball to get into better field goal position, dont call pussy plays. For some reason Jauron has no clue what this is all about. He is horrendous and the sad part is they just signed him to a three year extension after the 4-1 start. PATHETIC!
