WOW....nice first week for you. I must say though, the Bears screwed many of us over, but for anyone else that picked the Giants, that was a barn burner. The Giants at -6.5 was not a bad pick at all for the price it cost on the spread; how the Giants slipped at the fourth quarter is the killer.

Flava, if you like the bills, do you see the over too? Line is around 47. I dont really see New England score less than a TD per quarter....I see them getting 31-34 pts, that means bills need to be in the low 20s to cover....

I do see the OVER hitting. I'm not touching it but I like it a lot. This game for the Bills is like the Georgia game was to Oklahoma State. They did nothing but prepare for this game, looking ahead at nothing else, and if they win tonight you can fade them next weekend against Tampa Bay.

I know Marshawn is out and that is a big time loss for this offense but in their pre-season games, the Patriots allowed:

116 rushing yards vs. Philadelphia

173 rushing yards vs. Cincinnati

116 rushing yards vs. Washington

118 rushing yards vs. NY Giants

That's not bad but the Bills will be just fine gaining 3-4 yards per carry. I know it was only pre-season but the Pats allowed 24+ points in three of their four pre-season games. With Seymour and Vrabel gone, I see this defense taking some time to gel.

Also the Bills averaged 27.3 points per game in their first four games of 2008. I know they have a new OC but having T.O. in the lineup is going to make a huge difference. Lee Evans should have some big time plays tonight (this being his third season with Trent Edwards).

I see a lot of fireworks on special teams tonight too....good luck

The only concern with the OVER is that the last 3 meetings in New England have been relatively low-scoring.

I find it ironic that my two losses this season were on teams that lost their defensive stars early in the game:

Steelers (Polamalu)

Bears (Urlacher)

Neither defense looked the same once those two bowed out. Good Luck to all tonight. Should be a great one.

The Bears blew that one last night. Two major mistakes one on special teams and the other on Defenese secondary getting spun around.

Those were huge plays.

I thought the Steelers was a more mistake free game.

I like your picks man! I am not kissing your ass either.

A couple games your write ups have been right on. Keep up the hard work and as every sports better knows sometime you eat the Bar and sometimes the Bar eats you!

I'm waiting until everyone on the east coast gets home from work and bets on the Pats as a "GOY" to win their money back that they lost this weekend.

I totally agree and like I mentioned before, the Bills have been looking forward to this game. They haven't even looked past this game on the schedule because a win here means they can make the playoffs.

Any team with T.O. on it is going to be somewhat explosive. Lee Evans is one of the best deep threats (underrated) in the NFL and with all that attention on T.O. tonight, he is going to be even more open than he has been the last three seasons (16 receiving touchdowns with longest completions of 83 yards in 2006, 85 yards in 2007 and 87 yards in 2008). If the Pats want to cover Lee Evans, then T.O. makes a statement on Monday Night Football like he has done many times in the past.

Terrell Owens on Monday Nights

23 Games, 101 Receptions 19 Touchdowns, 15.2 yards per reception, 6.1 yards after catch, 0 fumbles

On paper the Pats have a big advantage but you're right, a ton of public money is going to come in on them tonight. The public won last night with Green Bay and a lot of people figure Brady's return means immediate results. Well he's been off for more than a year and the Bills are going to come out aggressive.

I know it's a long shot but I'm guessing Terrell Owens will catch 2 TD passes and will throw 1 TD pass.

About to start tailgating.

GL Flava, although I am against you tonight...

A lot of what you mention is assuming Edwards has enough time to make this happen, especially on the deep balls. He will need time to throw. I dont think the defense will allow this to happen.

Nice opening week :toast:

The offensive line sucks, that's true but Edwards is pretty good on his feet from what we have seen on a few occasions in the past and like I said before, I really think the Bills throw every single big play they have in their playbook at the Pats tonight.

Let's face it, you don't win this game, you probably don't make the playoffs if you're the Bills.

Great read on the Bills and Under so far. Brady is looking quite shaky but both teams are really giving up the run.

Good luck Flava!
