memphis lost at home to rice...rice? and with no line only beat nicholls state by 21.
louisville has had 2 weeks to prepare for what they will consider an important game. this is their first road trip this season so 6.5 is a lot to give, but i don't buy into the talk of "renewed rivalry" and nostalgia about the shootout from 4 years ago.
i believe memphis is outclassed against this louisville team. the more i read, the more it seems that the perception is that this will be another shootout/last possession game. public perception says to take the home dog and the 6.5 pts.
i'm siding with the magic 8 ball...i mean ps2
and going louisville -6.
and unless we're completely off base and memphis is up more than 2 scores at half, i look for louisville's big o-line to wear out memphis' defense in the second half too.
