It's fair to say that Bush made a huge mistake in Iraq, and Obama is doing the same regarding Libya.

VERY fair. And Obama is making another mistake in Iraq now, by getting involved again, and in Syria by getting involved, and in Afghanistan by staying involved.

As far as this silly poll, Ex Presidents are like Backup QB's. Their popularity grows because they don't play. It's irrelevant. The relevant Poll with W was how unpopular he was when he left office. It's EXTREMELY doubtful Obama will ever reach anywhere near that level of disdain with the Public.

Do you honestly believe the simplistic, nonsensical, tripe that we have to fight them there to keep them from coming here???? You're smarter than that, I hope. Same shit was said in Vietnam, and pretty much every American Invasion since, with few exception. Fighting them there, invading their region, makes more of them grow up wanting to come here.
What we need to do is get the hell out of their region, let them fight their regional, intra faith Wars.

For a guy like acebb who spends so much time trying to disguise his IP address info.....you would think he could understand the timing out issues here. Remember when he accused guesser of lying because guesser said he fell asleep. Lol....as if you have to be here if you're logged in here. Classic acebb stupidity.

To expand. W, WHILE IN OFFICE had as low as a 20% approval, and a -52% spread between approval and disapproval. I'll sit up and take notice when Obama reaches that low number. So far, his lowest in mid 30's, and a 20% spread.

So the answer is pull completely out of the Middle East and do nothing? Sounds logical.

Yep, sure does. Unfortunately it won't happen precisely because it is logical.

And Israel? Bibi has his finger on the button and won't hesitate to use it. Just let them take care of it? They will, the late 1930's-1945 will never happen again.

The situation requires leadership, staying out of it is the easy thing to do. Logic? Not really sure that it applies in this case

Nope, it's the hardest thing to do because we never do it. The easiest thing to do is intervene when it's none of our business, and that's what we always wind up doing, and that's why we are in the mess we're in.
If Israel is attacked and needs our help, we will help them. If they are the aggressor, and the idiot Bibi uses the button, they are on their own.

In 1786, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson met with Arab diplomats from Tunisia, who were conducting terror raids and piracy against American ships (Barbary Pirates). Writing to John Jay, Thomas Jefferson described what he saw as the main issue and the reason why they were attacking Americans who had done them no harm. The following quote is from Thomas Jefferson:

“We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretensions to make war upon a Nation who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our Friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation. THE AMBASSADOR ANSWERED US THAT IT WAS FOUNDED ON THE LAWS OF THEIR PROPHET, THAT IT WAS WRITTEN IN THEIR KORAN, THAT ALL NATIONS WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR AUTHORITY WERE SINNERS, THAT IT WAS THEIR RIGHT AND DUTY TO MAKE WAR UPON THEM WHEREVER THEY COULD BE FOUND, AND TO MAKE SLAVES OF ALL THEY COULD TAKE AS PRISONERS, AND THAT EVERY MUSSELMAN (MUSLIM) WHO SHOULD BE SLAIN IN BATTLE WAS SURE TO GO TO PARADISE"

Libtard response: Bush's fault!

It's gotta be the genes.

Richard Clarke is a hero to America. The fools that try to discredit him have a sick agenda and are just that, fools and partisan hacks. The man worked through multiple administrations and both parties trying to keep America safe. Until the idiot W got into power and ignored him, he did a helluva job.

Richard Clarke was a spectacular failure at his job. There were at least a dozen terrorist attacks on America while he was in government. Of course you worship him.

You're a fucking moron.

If gw bush and Obama were on the ballot in 2016....Obama would win and it wouldn't be close.

So weird how you far righties don't understand polling. Looks like 2012 all over again.

This is the type of dumb drivel laughably stupid people like you are reduced to when you can't come up with any sort of coherent response.

"Looks like 2012!"
