..to trade him from the Angels? It’s been time for awhile but the beginning of this season they had promise. The betting odds had them within contention due to trades and beefing up the bullpen. Just hasn’t panned out. Look at Pujos how his career would have died out gracefully if the Angels kept him. He’s revived with the Cardinals, running actually faster than with the Angels I swear, and having the kind of season you want to see a champion go out on with the Cardinals.

A great player like this, for one, needs to get the fuck outta California. Phillies is the go to but what would be another place he could revive and make an impact?

Definitely will be figured in the negotiation contract. Risk vs Reward going up against where he’d be happy has a lot going into it for sure.

After this season I think the Angels are ready to part ways from forming a team around Trout after the past decade it seems. It’ll be a mutual decision.

Injuries happen to most players. Some like Trout seems to be are injury prone. That's why such a steep, long term contract should never be handed out. Now both the organization and the fans get cheated.

I don't even follow baseball but you can't restructure deals I am pretty sure. When the Red Sox were in on dealing for A-Rod in the winter of 2003, the MLBPA said any restructuring is a no go.

The Angels could pay a % of his deal to the team receiving him though.

Either way, its baseball I wouldn't worry about it too much.

He wouldn’t be. I don’t think his bank account is going to be experiencing any disruption if another team absorbed the rest of his contract, essentially. This off-season I’m sure we’ll see rumors of possible Mike Trout trade.
