I really don't think that was him giving up on his team, rather him being absolutely clueless about the situation. As we was leaving the field he looked back almost not knowing there was time left. Sad...
I felt the same.. things didn't go their way, couple calls went against them (PI was a good call, but how did they overturn that catch?).. and Stoops quit. Couldve tried a long field goal or at least a toss to the endzone. What was up with that?
