Emelec vs Penarol
- I've been watching all the Penarol matches and they are just not clicking right now. Velez blew them out, Cerro drew them late, and Danubio outplayed them. Coach has announced that Libertadores is secondary tournament after last year's disappointment and they have never played well away internationally. Basically in last 2 years of Lib play they are 1-1-7 away allowing a goal in every match and 2+ in 6 of them. Emelec is a sea level team but 4-0-0 in last 4 matches, 12-0-2 last 14 overall, and 11 straight home wins plus 18-2-2 at home in last 22. In libertadores play they are 6-1-1 L8 at home including wins over Velez, Fla, Olimpia, and Jaguares.
