watching newcastle right now and i'll bet against them. they're ravaged by injuries and spent no money in offseason to add players so the reserves aren't very strong. all of a sudden survival in EPL is most important thing and big match on weekend against norwich. maritimo full of brazilians, 9 i believe, are unbeaten since april, and were given green light to play in home stadium

in champions league took Dinamo/Porto over 2 goals. Dinamo not able to compete at this level. last year group stage lost games like 7-1, 6-2, 4-0. To qualify scored 3-2-4 at home and Porto big time offense scoring 3 and 4in the past two league games. Good record of scoring away in Europe...3 straight, 5 of last 6, 16 goals in past 11 CL trips with 17 conceded.

Rotherham everyone's pick to win league two (i chose Southen and Oxford due to the big odds but no doubt Rotherham are favs) and while Dale is doing well on table 6 of their 8 points came from beating Barnet and Wimbledon who have a combined 5 points. Dale's away win at Wimbledon broke a 16 road match losing streak. could be a lot of goals in this one

- crazy bet perhaps but I just took Oldham to win league one at +5000 ... yes, they're 10 points behind leaders but I don't expect Tranmere, Stevenage, Crawley, Walsall, or Yeovil to be anywhere near playoffs by season's end. Yes, Notts have had a great start and Sheff United still the team to beat but the one team i circled down bottom to make a charge is Oldham. Paul Dickov is manager and has assembled not only a talented team but really deep. Before transfer closed he signed a kid from City and another from Everton plus Derbyshire on loan from Forest (ex-Olympiakos). Very talented squad for League One. Trust me, the wins will come so let's get on them while they're still really undervalued!
