Iran vs South Korea - Asia Cup qualie - not an important match as both teams have already qualified to next year's Asian Cup, but must bet on Iran based on their incredible home advantage. Iran have selected a near full strength squad while Korea are likely to miss captain Kim Nam-il due to injury and assistant coach due to visa trouble. Iran is a very solid 17-1-1 at home since mid-June 2004 with their only home loss a friendly against Germany in Oct 2004. South Korea have no real experience here with their last trip to Tehran in 1982 and the club will include no European players due to club commitments. Iran have not been in great form but are 4-3-0 since their world cup disappointment while South Korea are 2-2-1 since Germany with a poor 3-1 loss vs Ghana followed by a very poor 1-1 home draw vs Syria. ELO rate Iran #2 in Asia and #29 in the world while South Korea fall in at 6 and 46. Fifa have consistently held Iran ahead of South Korea and current standings are #43 vs #48 though I think the gap is a bit wider personally and makes for midweek's best bet. thought about taking Jaguares -1.25 goals tonight vs Toluca reserve team but the fact that Jaguares have scored either 0 or 1 goal in 8 straight matches puts me off ... so wrapping up the midweek

Jaguares vs Toluca - well, now that odds are -1 and not -1.25 I'll have a bet. As most already know Toluca have two matches tonight, one in Chiapas and one in Chile. Regulars are in Chile and reserves are in Chiapas. I would expect a similar match as earlier in the year where Toluca reserves held off Jaguares total pressing and Jaguares miss chance after chance wide of the net. Of course much of that match was played 11 v 9 but it was still evident that Jaguares are much stronger than Toluca reserves. Only Zinha will play in starting 11 as Toluca regular and their aim is to keep a low scoring match so 2nd leg can see the regulars victorious and advance to Mexican playoffs. Jaguares now 8 straight games of 0-1 goal scored so this will not be easy but I expect no worse than money back. Jaguares -1 goal 4/10 @2.01 (pinn)

I am on the other end here not being aware Toluca plays with
reserve team here,this explains why the odds looked to me too good
and i grabbed it..LOL,Oh well,the gambling element still here,we will
