Chivas vs Toluca - Mexico - really great odds for Chivas IMO. They are playing some incredible football right now, really late in the coming with their talent but something everyone expected. I'm not normally one to bet above medium stakes on a final, but as I mentioned after the America match I was focused on Chivas and the odds, expecting 1.80 for this game. Chivas on a 7-0-0 home streak with just ONE goal conceded (15/1). Toluca with a lot of recent matches, 7 in 17 days, but are playing some valiant defense. While I do like the under I cannot ignore my initial interest which was Chivas at odds above 1.80... Chivas -1/2 goal 7/10 @2.04 (pinn)
Arsenal at Porto - CL - as I mentioned in another thread CSKA's winning differential in Hamburg has NOTHING to do with the scenario of who advances in the group. If CSKA wins and Arsenal draws the tiebreaker b/w three teams on even points is the h2h goal differential b/w those teams.
so if Porto/Gunners draw:
CSKA -1
Arsenal +1
Porto +0
so Porto/Arsenal walk into this match knowing that splitting points put them through. I've seen this situation so many times...Italy B matches, PSV to win title two years back, other UEFA/CL games, that I know to either bet it or avoid...but never oppose. Obvious problem is that if Hamburg is beating CSKA neither Arsenal nor Porto need the draw... Arsenal/Porto draw 3/10 @1.794 (pinn)
