TOLEDO has suspended linebackers Jaylen Coleman and Anthony Davis and defensive
tackle Marquise Moore for the first two games of the season against Arkansas State and
Maine. The usual "broke team rules" reason was given. Coleman and Moore were projected
starters with Davis considered as a key reserve.

The KENT STATE GOLDEN FLASHES are coming off a 3-9 season with 18 starters
back. The Flash will have the difficult task of facing a defending national champion
when they travel to Tuscaloosa on September 24. Kent State last played Bama in
2011 where they lost 48-7 and were held to minus 9 yards rushing.

I've been doing this stuff for a lot of years and have learned that the best chance for me winning
on a consistent basis is with teams/conferences most don't care about.
I love the SEC...but seldom bet on SEC games. It's just too difficult in a conference with so many
good defenses. Add a line and just to difficult for my pay grade.
I'm a Bama homer....but probably won't bet on the Tide over two times this season.

up 42.1 points and getting torched on the ground to the tune of 316.6 yards per game. There
are eight starters returning on a defense that ranked 123rd nationally last year. Third year
coach Chris Creighton has a combined 3-21 record and could possibly match his win total this
season...then maybe not. My guess is they go 2-10 this year.............
.......................as bad as the Eagles are, there's still some situations to keep an eye on like
playing AGAINST them at home when their opponent is off a straight up win. EMU is just
7-22 against the spread in this situation.

were also rated No. 15 in total defense.................

from that unit.

Despite a coaching change and the loss of key starters, THE BOWLING GREEN FALCONS
have the talent to contend for a MAC title. One situation I like about the Falcons is after
allowing an opponent 10 or less points...they WIN the money the next game to the tune
of 9-0 against the spread.
