I am pretty close to buying micro brothers winpicks software for college football (and probably nba).
but I look at reference manual and it talks about entering data by hand (odds, scores...... even detailed game stats like FG attempts in football) for the current season.
is this correct? surely one of the biggest motivations for most people to buy software is automation.
I should note a lot of my initial interest is in analyzing quant strategies (SMU as negative momentum FADE vs. deep "washed out" value TAIL)....... is there something free and/or easy I can use for this?.... for the NBA I'd be looking more at angles I think.
thx in advance
