Michigan has lost four straight road games, all by six or more points. The Wolverines, for example, crushed Maryland at home before losing to them by six points on the road. The fact that they beat Northwestern at home by seven is thus far from promising for them. Their frequent inability to contain the dribble drive and the vulnerability of their perimeter defense make them hard to like in general. On offense, they lack the three-point shooting prowess that they possessed in prior seasons. A team like Northwestern that loves to shoot threes will outpace Michigan with its vulnerable perimeter defense.
