Anybody catch Meteor last night on NBC. The plot: A huge Meteor has been sent on a collision course with Earth after a deep space impact with a comet that redirects the meteor's orbit and sends it our way. Meanwhile a group of scientist have discovered the peril and try to rush the correct coordinates for firing a WMD at the object to a team of Army and Air Force Officers in a vain attempt to destroy it. Christopher Lloyd who played crazy Jim on Taxi, Jason Alexander of Seinfeld and Stacy Keach lead the charge in an attempt to save mankind. Pretty chessy in spots but entertaining in others, I guess NBC needed a ratings boost and this was their attempt to "Save Mankind" and their ratings.

The plot may be "Armageddonish" but the story line I thought was different was how the heros had to keep overcoming the obstacles that fate seem to throw at them. For instance the lead scientist getting runover by a van and now his assistant must mature quickly and prove her worth. As far as a Part 2, I can honestly say I thought at 10:50 the other night, the WMD would be fired an all would be well. I never saw a Part 2 in the mix.

I only knew that there was More to Movie, because they had a 2 page story on the show in the Sunday paper. It said a 2 part Movie.

Most reviews, have been bad. and I think if not for the Cast
there wouldn't be much talk about this movie.

I also think they could have Fit 4 hours, into 2 hours.
