Just reading the Drudge Report and noticed that some media outlet is running a story about anti-semitic comments that Hutton Gibson has apparently made. God I find this stuff disgusting. The media is trying so hard to paint Mel Gibson with the label "anti-semite" and they will stoop to any length to do it. Why not just let his movie stand for itself? But no, every time I see it discussed or him interviewed there are vague implications by the reporter or interviewer of anti-semitism. Now they are using comments by the man's father to make the same implications. Let the man and his work stand on it's own. To my knowledge Mel Gibson has never said or done anything that would let us conclude he's an anti-semite - if this movie changes that conclusion then so be it - but let's at least watch the damn thing before the accusations start flying.
