What about this for a First Lady?

No Disrespect to Melania Trump Intended. Just saying. This as a First Lady would be off the charts amazing. History talks about Nefertiti being hot, Cleopatra etc. but this would set a record that would be hard to break.

Murdochs Have Decided to Remove Roger Ailes — the Only Question Now Is When.

Roger Ailes's tenure as the head of Fox News may be coming to an end. Rupert Murdoch and sons Lachlan and James — co-chairmen and CEO, respectively, of parent company 21st Century Fox — have settled on removing the 76-year-old executive, say two sources briefed on a sexual-harassment investigation of Ailes being conducted by New York law firm Paul, Weiss. After reviewing the initial findings of the probe, James Murdoch is said to be arguing that Ailes should be presented with a choice this week to resign or face being fired. Lachlan is more aligned with their father, who thinks that no action should be taken until after the GOP convention this week. Another source confirms that all three are in agreement that Ailes needs to go.

While Gretchen Carlson’s sexual-harassment lawsuit against Ailes sparked the investigation, sources say it has expanded into a wide-ranging inquiry into Ailes’s controversial management style. The interviews are now being conducted at Paul, Weiss’s midtown offices because of concerns that the Fox offices could be bugged, sources say. The lawyers are seeking to interview former female employees of Fox News in addition to current staff. They are also looking into the appropriateness of Ailes’s pressuring employees to speak out on his behalf, against his accusers. For instance, they are focusing on an op-ed written by Fox Business anchor Neil Cavuto in which Cavuto called the allegations against Ailes “sick.” As Cavuto is a manager at Fox News (his title is senior VP and managing editor), his comments could be seen as part of a corporate attempt to silence women who would speak out.

Meanwhile, one Fox host told me that Ailes loyalists are reporting back on the investigation to his attorney, and Fox contributor, Susan Estrich. “They’re scared to death,” one Fox anchor told me. “The mood is bleak.”
21st Century Fox issued the following statement, shortly after this article with originally published: “This matter is not yet resolved and the review is not concluded.”

If the implication is Roger moves the women up the ladder based on the amount of sexual favors Kelly must of sucked his cock every night to get the prime time tv slot right next to oreilly .

The problem I have is she waited till it was known he was getting fired to come out the closet on this.
Basically left Carelson out to dry those first few days then after he gets ousted finally comes out with all this

kelly- will do or say anything to get in the public eye. working hard for her money

CLEVELAND, Ohio — At least one top talent inside Fox News has confirmed to Breitbart News that a
major talent meeting among various different hosts is scheduled, and they are considering leaving with
Roger Ailes to form a new network to compete with Fox.

“Everyone here hates Gretchen and Megyn,” the talent said in a brief phone interview, adding that
hosts from Fox and Friends and throughout the primetime lineup from the co-hosts of The Five to
Special Report’s Bret Baier to Greta Van Susteren to Bill O’Reilly, Shepard Smith and Sean Hannity
are planning to band together and potentially execute contract clauses that allow them to leave
if Ailes is driven out.

This talent added that there is a lot expected to come out about how much Kelly’s colleagues
despise her. “The entire building hates her,” the source said. “Nobody cares that she’s upset about a frickin’ hug.”

Seems like a major reach. Starting a cable network from scratch and competing with a behemoth like Fox is not easy.

You really think O'reilly is trying to start at another network because his interactions in the hallways aren't pleasant with a few people?

What's he make, 15 million a year? I doubt most people care.

Angel Investors, Surplus Money in Silicon Valley, enough that its a Win-Win for certain Venture Capitalists they either get a nice Tax Writeoff from a massive trainwreck failure or it turns them a nice profit or it languishes in that dreaded unwilling to die middle in which case the books get cooked to get at least a portion of their investment returned.

The Valley seeks to be The Economic Centre of USA. The NYSE/FOREX/other markets Reporting alone they could make a partial focus might be worth their investment. To put a New Channel out there, give this a go.

Getting this Funded might not be as difficult as it would have been in the past, no where even anything like that.

If so Annoying Ass O'Rielly would still get all or close enough to that 15Mill to make this a thing that could happen.

Of course if Thiel was part of it he;d convince O'Rielly to work for Free :):) for "points" at the "box office" or just take the easy route and blackmail him. :):)

joke......Mr. Thiel is above that of course and I am a Moron.

Just Saying......them doing this is not far fetched at all. Its actually quite realistic and not just that....its a thing they would try

if they have any cajones. Bring it Out Northern Cali and they are Golden. NoCal has forever been of the mind that they do not get the "Respect" that they deserve

and they are pretty much right.

"Cable" News Channel MAJORIS would get then that

and certain entities within The Valley are just going to end up owning certain large News & TV Networks anyways....

if they want them.

They may start their own anyways though....Streaming Based sites that rip the rug out from under FOX eventually anyways.

Roger Ailes leaving the News Corporation building earlier this week. Credit Drew Angerer/Getty Images

Roger Ailes stepped down on Thursday as chairman and chief executive of Fox News, ending a 20-year reign as head of the cable network he built into a ratings juggernaut and an influential platform for Republican politics.
Rupert Murdoch, the 85-year-old media mogul who started Fox News with Mr. Ailes, will assume the role of chairman and will be an interim chief executive of Fox News channel and Fox Business Network until a permanent replacement for Mr. Ailes is found.
Mr. Ailes will receive about $40 million as part of a settlement agreement, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. As part of the agreement, Mr. Ailes cannot start a competitor to Fox News. He will continue to make himself available as an adviser to Mr. Murdoch on an interim basis, the person said, though he will not be directly involved with Fox News or its owner, 21st Century Fox.
In a statement, Mr. Murdoch praised Mr. Ailes, 76, and his “remarkable contribution” to the company, without making mention of the sexual harassment scandal that felled him.
“Roger shared my vision of a great and independent television organization and executed it brilliantly over 20 great years,” Mr. Murdoch said. “Fox News has given voice to those who were ignored by the traditional networks and has been one of the great commercial success stories of modern media.”
In the statement, Mr. Murdoch’s sons, James and Lachlan, likewise praised Mr. Ailes before adding that they were committed to “to maintaining a work environment based on trust and respect.”
Mr. Ailes’s position atop Fox News was thrown into doubt two weeks ago after a former anchor, Gretchen Carlson, filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. Mr. Ailes denied the accusations, but 21st Century Fox began an internal review and ultimately determined that he could no longer remain in the job.
In a letter to Mr. Murdoch on Thursday, Mr. Ailes wrote: “Having spent 20 years building this historic business, I will not allow my presence to become a distraction from the work that must be done every day to ensure that Fox News and Fox Business continue to lead our industry.”
A copy of the letter was provided by Mr. Ailes’s lawyer, Susan Estrich.
Though he made no mention of the investigation or the sexual harassment lawsuit, Mr. Ailes said, pointedly, “I take particular pride in the role that I have played advancing the careers of the many women I have promoted to executive and on-air positions. Many of these talented journalists have deservedly become household names known for their intelligence and strength, whether reporting the news, fair and balanced, and offering exciting opinions on our opinion programs.”
Mr. Murdoch cut short a vacation he was on with his wife, Jerry Hall, on the French Riviera to return and attend to Mr. Ailes’s departure agreement. His sons, who have assumed leadership positions in the company, have been in contact with their father this week discussing Mr. Ailes’s future.
The elder Mr. Murdoch was addressing the Fox News newsroom Thursday afternoon.
Outside the Fox production bureau at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the veteran Fox News anchor Brit Hume expressed sadness upon hearing the news.

“I’m absolutely heartbroken that all this happened,” he said. “I love the guy, and I’m heartbroken.”
He added, “When I said I love the guy, that’s present tense.”
Michael M. Grynbaum and Brooks Barnes contributed reporting.
