Fifteen races tonight. Here are my thoughts.
Race #1
WORLDS APART (#7) has won the last three convincingly (2 at Dover and 1 at M1). Racing in the same class - should win again. Behind the #7 AllAMERICAN SALUTE had a tough trip the last time out and came in fifth, but ran a 1:53 and 4/5 on a sloppy track a few weeks ago. The #9 SOUTHWIND SALEM has run second the last two and should be there. EASY BIG FELLA (#11) rode the rail last race and could hit the board this time. TRI KEY 7/1-9-11
Race #2
R C MR CHIP (#8) ran some good times in September. Has only run a qualifier and one race last week since (good warm up). This horse has a good shot to win. JUST INCREDIBLE N (#10) has run second the last two and can do it again. DIAMOND TROT A (#7) ran a good time at this level 3 weeks ago. Came in second last week in a class drop - could be ready for this one. SIR VALAHAD (#9) The M/L favorite is moving up in class and will have a tough time winning. TRI 8/10/79
Race #3
#7 STAR BONUS a 2/1 ML favorite is definately the horse to beat. GEHRIG (#6)Two races ago started in the 10-post and never got in it, but ran a 1:51 and 4/5 last time out in the 2 slot. This time it's the 6-post and has can run second. REGENT HALL (#1) has hit the board the last two times. JO PA'S BENCH MARK has run 1:52 the last two races (one on a sloppy track). GENERAL MATTARTHUR (#5) has not run well lately at Dover, but comes back to M1 with Brian Sears who ran 1:50 and 4/5 twice in July and August. TRI 7/6/135
Race #4
ASAMATTEROFFACT (#3) Started real slow from the 9-post two races ago and ended up fourth by 3 1/2 lenghts. Laste race came in third by one length but ran a sub :27 last quarter. LOTSA GUY (#8) looked decent last time out coming in third but was parked out for a quarter mile. KURT RUSTLER (#2) - second race at M1 this year. Was Parked out for 1/2 mile last time and came in fourth. (#9) TWOFOUREIGHT the M/L favorite at 3/1 has not run well from an outside post and I don't think will win from the 9-post. WILDCAT FEVER at 15/1 ML is not bad and I like the David Miller driving. TRI 3/8/2-9-11
Race #5
FOX VALLEY SNAFFLE (#10) won the last time out with a 1:53 and 1/5 and I think can beat the M/L favorite COSMIC DREAMER (#7) who I like to place. FRANCO CATAPULT N (#8) has collected Show money the last 3 and #11 RAISENCAIN HANOVER has run good times the last two races, but the post could hurt. TRI 10/7/8-11
Race #6
The M/L favorite MY FANTASY (#7) is the best horse in this race. However, MISBET (#2) M/L 15-1 ran a good race last time coming in fourth by 1 1/4 lengths and # 3 FEMINA MACHO ran all Fall at Harrington (1/2 mile track) with times of 1:55. TRI KEY 7/23
Race #7
E DEE'S CAM (#2) has not run a money race since May! But, back then this horse ran a 1:50 and 1/5 and a 1:48 and 3/5!! I usually don't like betting a horse off such a long layoff, but 3 qualifiers in the last month should help. LIFE SIZZLES (#6) won 3 of the last 4 and should be there. NORTHERN SUN (#1) and CHEYENNE REI (#10) have both been solid and should complete the tri. TRI 2/6/1-10
I'm out of time tonight, but maybe I can share my insight for races #8-#15 tomorrow.
