But if he really thought she was the best from the whole field of choices now, why wouldn't she be the best from what is not going to be a larger field of choices 4 years from now. Pawlenty? He could have chosen him as VP. If Palin was a better choice than Pawlenty for VP this year, why wouldn't she be a better choice for President 4 years from now?

I admire his passion and dedication as expressed during a time in our country when the government was sending tens of thousands of our young people to their death doing mercenary work in Southeast Asia.

As PUNTER aptly notes, no one died during any of the bombings in which Ayers was proven to be involved

I'm unaware that Ayers "wishes he had bombed more", though perhaps in the context of actual events, more bombings by the WU might have sped up the end of US involvement in Vietnam. Certainly that's admittedly just speculative on my part.
