Well, I'm shocked. A college athlete getting a car and constantly having boosters giving him envelopes filled with money? No. I never would have guessed. It's been going on for decades and will continue to go on for many more decades. These athletes are treated like royalty from the time they are still in high school. They think the rules don't apply to them and they're right. They live under a different set of rules than the rest of society.
I always thought Maurice Clarett was a dirtbag so this doesn't surprise me. What really bothers me about this type of situation is the player takes all the stuff and instead of just enjoying it and keeping his mouth shut, they wait until they're out of school and then they start chirping. He knows nothing will happen to him but something could happen to Ohio State. I don't doubt anything he said because that type of activity goes on at 95% of the major college programs.
