The top five players in the world are all playing very well right now. I'll be mildly surprised if one of them does not win this. Goosen of course has the longest odds of the five and he is such a good player for the Majors. At +1700 (Pinny) to win, I think he's worth a play. Also believe Mickelson to finish in the top five at +122 (Pinny) is worth a play. Also like Ernie, Tiger and Vijay to be in the hunt, but don't like the odds for them to finish in the top 3,5 or 8 nor do I like their odds to win. Won't bet them if the price isn't right.

Watch the weather the next 24 hours. If it rains heavily, the course will soften up and the total probably won't be in play because scores will drop and the under 278.5 total strokes (9.5 under) will be worth a look. However, if it does not rain, I think you have to look over the total. This course is longer and it's tougher than it was when Tiger beat it into submission several years ago. I don't think you're going to see 8 under, let alone 10 under on this course any more given good weather with dry, fast greens.

Agree with Apollo Kid that Luke Donald worth a small play at +4000. Donald will win a major. He had a breakthrough last year with some nice wins in the US and Europe. This could be a breakthrough year for him, and he'll be worth a look whenever the odds are this long on him. They won't be by the end of this season.

Also have to look at high ball hitters like Chris DeMarco. He has played well recently and played well last weekend until he had that one bad round. If the course is dry, you have to look at the guys who can really putt and give the edge to the high ball hitters.

Settled on my Masters Plays and added a few. Not sold on Sergio's game right now nor his ability to come up big in Majors. I'll take DeMarco as a big dog to Sergio. Also can't believe Mike Weir, a Masters Champion, is a dog to Furyk, who is still finding his way after wrist surgery.

Mickelson to finish in Top 5 +111 300
Goosen to win +1700 100
Donald to win +4000 100
DiMarco to win +7000 100
Weir +105 vs. Furyk 300
DiMarco +133 vs. Garcia 300

Said I thought one of the big five would win. Check. Had three plays to win all at handsome odds...DiMarco, finished 2nd. Donald, finished 3rd. Goosen, finished 3rd. Feel like I should get some kind of booby prize for that. :) Mickelson four putts 16 to lose by one stroke the bet I had on him to finish in the top 5. The individual matchup bets win easy, but for me this Masters was oh so close, but no cigar.
