It’s a white guy hitting a black guy. Why would this form be upset about that?

if Drake did the same thing to a player, this thread would be on page 5 by now :)

When a black guy Jackson knocked out a white guy he only got 30 games. Stevens did waaay less and got waaay more games.

LMAO! Too much for you to comprehend, I get it.

I don’t think you do. How is your kindergarten comment too much to comprehend? You just compared this incident to the malice at the palace. I don’t even know what to say

My point exactly! You don't know what to say because your comprehension is lacking.

You're talking about the pacers/pistons debacle in 2004, right?

A fan threw a beer at Jackson and he was defending himself (not saying what Jackson did was right).

This golden state investor was in the wrong. I'm not sure what the punishment should have been.

Artest was hit by the drink, Jackson knocked out a downed punk who was getting up. I agree with your last statement, just pointing out when the roles were reversed, Jackson got a much more lenient punishment than Stevens.

Jackson's defense was "he was acting out of player safety and self defense". 100% bullcrap but valid defense.

Stevens is also held to a "higher standard" than Jackson (we can all read between the lines)

It’s hilarious you’re comparing the two because one was the most violent incident with fans ever and this incident was minor in that sense.

Only thing similar about the incidents is nba players stood together then and they stood together now against the fans/league whoever. Soon as all the nba players acted like they were going to fight each other and were separated....once that fan ignited the whole thing and threw that drink and Jackson and Artest ran into the stands....a lot of the Pistons players were jumping into their home crowd to try to break up the fight and get their fellow nba players out of those dangerous circumstances.

It was two nba players vs the entire away crowd.

The “The downed punk getting up” was hit by Jermaine O’Neal ON the court. Not Steven Jackson. The fans rushed the court what do you expect? Lmfao. “Downed punk getting up.” That fat ass dude shouldn’t have been trying to fight an NBA player on the court. Wtf

To be fair, “ pdinsports” brought race into it first.

oh wait no he didn’t lol. Not to say knight is wrong though lol. He’s just stating why there wasn’t a thread made on it already.

To be fair, Knight and LeBrons IG post is right...if a player pushed a fan like that and told him to go fuck himself there probably would be a thread or two/a bigger deal

Again you don't have the intellect to understand the comparison. I'll take the time to spell it out for you. You just said it yourself "one was the most violent incident this incident was minor" yet the investor received a much more severe punishment than Jackson and O'Neal. The poster brought in race and I just pointed out when the roles were reversed even though the severity is no where near the same, the "white guy" received an unfair sentence. You cannot run to cold clock a "downed punk getting up" especially when there's security around. You could only use force when the punk is coming at you. O'Neal ran across the floor to knock him out, hardly fits the narrative of him being in a fight.

Lmfao. Who ignited both incidents? Answer that honestly. That’s all you need to understand why both people got those sentences. Easy peasy. O’Neal’s wasn’t harsher, but Ron Artest missed an entire season. It’s common sense if you’re a fan and you’re fat as hell trying to run onto the court to fight, you are going to get dropped.

No fan should have been rushing the court to fight an nba player. That simple.

“Yeah fans are so innocent and civil... they don’t want to see players fight each other no of course not.”

Yes you can cold clock a downed punk getting up. It’s called dont run onto the court looking for a fight.

”ran across the court” lmao. You couldn’t even get the players name right who did it

That point is shoddy because two separate incidents it just doesn’t even make sense to compare those two incidents.

Forget race.

If Lowry put hands on the fan people would be outraged on this forum just saying we would have at least 2 threads from Enflameo alone
