I think he isnt a very good Xs and Os/rotation guy but he is a good motivational coach. Wonder if he would've got fired if they beat LAC, seems like he would've regardless because the owners just wanted to go in a different direction.

Either way it is good that he got fired because he'll probably go back to TV and he is the man on commentary.

I don't think it was about performance, although I could be mistaken

I do believe it's personal at some level

I think he did a good job, I think he'll get another offer or he may just decide TV is a whole lot easier and the quality of life is better

Yeah Bogut was out, that was no joke. Top 10 defensive player in the league this year. Huge loss against a team team like LAC that gets so many pts inside.

I don't think they underachieved really, but I do think some of his coaching moves coupled with not seeing things the way the organization did him in.

The players really liked him but he wasn't getting all he could out of that offense, as a Warriors fan I would have loved to see Don Nelson with this team. We took the clips to seven games with no big men, this team wasn't just all of a sudden winning because of Mark Jackson they are a winning team because they have a good team.
