how is the status of Ballack and Drogba..both were leaving the bremen match with injury. any update on them?

if both are OK i like chelseas pk,+0.5. this should be a close game and chelsea is focusing and resting players for it since two weeks. although ManU is doing the same, i always like Chelsea and Mourinho, when they are really prepared for a game.

They're both fit to play. Ballack only had a scrape on his thigh. News reports on Sky Sports (The biggest sports network here in the UK) have said all week, Drogba will definitely be playing as it was only a minor injury. And Drogba has just confirmed that he's fit to play.

I have never seen so much flopping and faking of injuries. Both teams are as guilty as each other.

Dogba and Ronaldo should have both been SENT OFF for the number of bullshit faking and flopping they did.

Drogba and Ronaldo are a cancer on the Premiership with this kind of behaviour.

Hey Markie, good to see you back on the soccer forums. I definitely understand your points.

Drogba and Ronaldo have been in fantastic form this season and have cut out alot of the diving recently. It was a shame to see them resort to it in a few incidents again; but its a problem with football as a whole. It's always been regarded as something introduced by the foreign contingent but various English players are guilty for it such as Joe Cole, Rooney (on a few occasions), Michael Owen etc. They need to use a rule whereby the FA can look back on a game, and anyone found to be diving should be suspended for a match. The FA don't seem to be wanting video technology, so I believe the only other method is to do something about it after a match, and create a precedent.

Been following the NHL system. Have to thank you for it. Hope you're enjoying your trip.:toast:

Rooney (on a few occasions)

absolutely his dive vs Portsmouth a few weeks back resulting in a penalty and the game's first goal was APPALLING. Nothing in todays game came close to that. Yet Mark wants Drogba and Cristiano 'sent off' for todays actions:think2:
