Hashem Abedi, pictured top in grey and below after his arrest in Tripoli, has confessed to knowing about his brother Salman's plot to carry out the terror attack in Manchester a month ago, when he visited the bomber in April. Detectives said Hashem had links to Islamic State and was planning to carry out a terror attack in Tripoli. The brothers' father Ramadan, 51, was also arrested in Libya yesterday afternoon - hours after insisting his son Salman, 22, had nothing to do with the suicide bombing in Britain.
