Yeah shits not really that fucked up nor has it been. We are blessed to be born here, at one of the best times to be alive. Now 2005-2011 were shitty times market wise, but since 2012 shit's been pretty good. I guess when shit's good we run out of shit to argue about, so we have to argue about PC nonsense.
To those who are privileged it might seem as there is nothing wrong. As to be expected here. We spend trillions of dollars on endless wars, including the war on drugs. When is defending your country turn into invading another country? We have the most jailed people in the world. Severe drug epidemic. Trillions of dollars in debt. Our president is a clown that doesn't believe in global warming. Jeff session is a racist who loves privatized prison and severe drug punishment. We created solar energy and China just surpassed us. We brought back coal mining jobs when solar provides 3-1 jobs in comparison. Engineered weather. Corrupt federal reserve. Crooked politicians with no cap on there seat who are forever campaigning. FDA and CDC are poisoning people. We can't fix a water crisis in our own country. Just decided to rescit DACA. We just put 4000 troops in Afghanistan. We funded a 10 year deal for 38 billion of tax payers money to Israel. We cut 3 billion from the EPA. Trump got rid of the flood preparedness plan on august 15th. Every day 22 vets commit suicide. Every 19 minutes someone ODs on prescription meds. But everyone is eating meat and watching football.
I'm far from privileged, just have a firm grasp on history. Not saying nothing is wrong and things can't be better, but shit is pretty good... even better for the unprivileged in the 3rd world who are far better off than they were 50 years ago. And in this country... forget about it, our poor are taken care of for the most part.

Protests aren't even throwing off such government. They are like 1/3 of the way there. And you're upset with people voicing their opinion by protesting? Why?

Life is not perfect and people always want someone else to blame for their crappy life. The easiest people to blame are the "governments" but coming from another country and travelling to other countries, it can be eye opening on how it is a privilege for anyone to live in America. If that wasn't true, we wouldn't have immigration issues.
