If the guy was signing up in person photo ID should have stopped him, if he was signing up online the IP address should have stopped him. Maybe they were freerolling him in case he lost, and if he won they would prosecute.

Bet365 also sucks. I remember in college asking them multiple times to have higher than $200 heads up sit and gos. Would never do it...

The article said he profited 236k pounds. If he ran that up with legit betting then that's harsh, but if he ran it up all on bonuses then I can understand sentencing him the same as if he stole 236k pounds in a robbery.

Terms and conditions aren't laws.

Like a casino demanding id before paying you out. Legally they have to pay you out even without ID if it's below the threshold of reporting for taxes.

This is just an example of paying off the right people.
