Yes st. louis is my favorite team besides Boston on there
St. Louis with McGee, Ozzie, Coleman, even Herr, you just keep it on the ground to the left side of the infield and it's a hit. It's critical because when I play with my friends, 1 run is all you need to win. It's usually 1-0 because we just paint the corners all game long. Then you get them in scoring position with a steal. You gotta manufacture runs.
The game is great though. Routine double plays are double plays. Getting good jumps on defense, particularly in the outfield, and understanding when the 2nd baseman or short stop go into auto-pilot mode is important.
But, it breaks down the beauty of baseball. Infield singles, getting rid of the ball quickly, double plays, scoring position, its very basic controls so anyone can pick it up and its a lot of strategy and a lot of fun. Next generation baseball games today, they have glitches or it is too hard to control runners, or too many pitches to choose from and the game moves too slow. RBI you can get done in 30 mins.
