Fish... I can see that you bought into all the pundit hype. I strongly urge you to forget everything you have learned from them and the so called wise guys here and just pay attention to what I write. I really don't want to sound like im just full of myself. Really. I just would live to see you on the winning side.

PS. My GOW looks like it will be Utah but don't bet it but wait for the line to go down to 7 first if that's possible.

I'd also like to givre Zona a good look as well as the Coogs sorry to say.

To all the new people that don,'t know me...
This is why I get 10000 views in 2 days. I'm not perfect and I'm probably not the smartist or best informed but I know the "nut" when I see it and what you will read in my posts is genuine.

Something I learned tonight was that USC gets the best players in LA and Chris Peterson gets the rest of the best players in LA.

Whoever agreed with me and said this would be a dogfight was right... But who'd have thunk Udub would vbe the bigger mutt of the 2.

PS... Buddha Baker. Future Sunday star.

Congrats, Conan, on a coast to coast ATS winner with Washington! I was the individual upstream in your thread who exclaimed this game would be a "dogfight." This was indeed a "trap game" for USC, and they were clearly outcoached and outplayed here. This is a signature win for Peterson and his program.

Personally speaking, I hope to see you back here posting at the Rx on a more frequent basis. Your acumen on college football, especially PAC-12, is a substantial boon to us at the Rx.

Inc...

Yes another signature win under Peterson's belt that seems to be filling up with more signature wins since he coached at Boise. His reputation as a hint killer lives on.

Yeah...but just remember to be nice to the poor fools that think the jury is still out on Sarkisian. The truth is that he just hasn't had enough rope to hang himself yet.

On USC's behalf I would like to add that Haden totally blew it because he already had the right man for the job but he let him get away

I am referring to Ed Orgeron who served as their interim HC a few years ago. He came on and rescued their season losing just once in a little more than half the season. His distinctive style and especially his voice set him apart from everyone else around. Most of all he could motivate his players. I believe he was the next Trojan legend waiting to happen.

I think Pat Haden passed on him because at the time USC was embroiled in controversy. (though entirely undeserved as we now know). Orgeron himself had gotten into some trouble while at Mississippi but it happened 10 years prior and the pressure to cheat was lunge in the SEC.

Boy did Kessler look bad last night with a pass rush, yeesh. He really doesn't move around well in the pocket. That tape will probably haunt him come May.

Its a lot more entertaining when you're watching a game with your money on the right side.

Note my comments about Orgeron I'mcluded that bit about his problem at Ole Miss. a while back.

You are right that it cost him the HC job at USC. Haden couldn't move forward with him under the circumstances. It's ironic that his misdeeds would come back to haunt him 10 or so years later. He paid a huge price for his indiscretions but IMHO so did the USC fans. Now that Sarkisian has had an oppprtunity to show his true colors, I'm sure that Orgeron would have done a better job.

I think it's ironic that Sark wound up replacing Lane Kiffin. Whatever happens happens I guess. Fate is a weird thing. Nick Saban is a lucky guy.
