LSU all day long -1 and the ML Huge. Don't over think this one, Better coach, staff and most importantly far superior talent. Kelly can coach and it's not about gameday X's and o's. Its about culture and talent. At ND the talent was okay, but at LSU the talent is freakish. Kelly knows how to mold a team's winning culture, It's 365, 24-7. practice, weight room, family. Yes he is an impish prick, but hw knows how to build a winner. He knows potential will get a coach fired everytime, LSU will be ready to give FSU a beatdown, He might break the Noles for the rest of the season.

FSU supposed to be up there this year but I'd go LSU too
They should be pretty good this season but they're 1 really good recruiting class away from being in contention.

Predictions are difficult especially if they involve the future.

Building a consistent winner takes years, game day is the culmination of decades of work. Yes talent is critical, but as important, is the leadership and the culture of the program that is set from the very top. From day one when a recruit steps on campus in August, 5 star to walk-on, demands and expectations are set. Smart, Saban, Bryant, ect all understand how to build a culture of winning. Bet with those guys and your betting on decades of a demand for the highest level of excellence. The best coaches understand "potential" will end a program faster then raping kids in the shower, just ask Jimbo.

I think Kelly at LSU, as much of a prick as he is, has that skillset, and knowledge. He knows how to demand excellence and maintain those standards and expectations 24-7 365. Up until LSU has has lacked the elite talent to compete with Saban and Smart. Get used to seeing this petulant lil turd get hoisted on the shoulders of America's top athletes week in and out. LSU will be ready for FSU in game one, for Kelly it's his life on the line every game, he will have them ready.

.Yes that was a stinker sorry for the drubbing. But don't go to sleep on the turd Kelly just yet. Losing to FSU is really no big deal for LSU. They have much bigger fish to fry in the SEC. I remember VT went into Columbus and spanked OSU the 1st game of the season. Urban Myer was toast OSU was finished for the year yada yada yada. They went on the win the NC that year.

Not saying LSU wins in all this year, but they got out of the game healthy, got their asses chewed by an old drunk Irish man, and were embarrassed on National TV.

There is a lot of money to be won by these Tigers this year. I'll be all over them in their 1st SEC game, and for most of the year

FSU had to win that game for any shot at the NC game. LSU just needs to win the SEC and they are in.

Same would have applied to FSU if they had lost last night. They'd be in the CFP if they won out and were the ACC champions.
