The way I understand it, a convincing win only matters in the polls part of the BCS calculation since margin of victory is not used in the computer part of the calculation. I don't think the pollsters are going to move LSU above USC. But who knows what they will do? That's why we need a playoff. This is a joke.
Not saying who is going to get in, but I don't think OU belongs in title game. If you lose conference chanpionship, you don't deserve to play for national title, period.
To say OU belongs after losing conference title game, would be like saying even after 1999 (I think that's the right year) Minnesota Vikings deserved to go to Super Bowl over the Atlanta Falcons even though Atlanta beat them in the NFC chanpionship game cuz Minnesota was 15 - 1 in regular season and Atlanta was 13 - 3 (I think).
Not only that, but OU got blown out. USC and LSU didn't get hammered that bad in their losses and they won the clutch games.blown out
