Love Blackjack? Then you’ll love Pontoon Pro, the latest addition to the Tower Casino!
What is Pontoon? Pontoon is the newest addition to the Tower Gaming Pro Series of games, it’s available to play for real money, right now and it puts a lucrative new spin on traditional Blackjack. Not only are both dealer cards dealt face down, but the introduction of the ‘Pontoon’ hand, 5 Card Trick, splitting and buying creates enticing new ways to win for the player. You have the option to play up to 3 game hands at the same time and can also choose to play low, regular or high limits.
No more Hitting. It’s Time to Twist. The first thing that will strike you about Pontoon is that after being dealt your cards, instead of being able to “hit” to take another card on your quest toward 21, you’ll be “twisting” instead. The rules state that the dealer must “twist” on any hand lower than a hard 17 (a hand without an ace, or a hand with an ace that can only have the value of one) and stick on anything higher. As in Blackjack, you can double your bet as you “twist” when you’re confident that the next card will be a good one.

Automatic Stick on Pontoon Pro Blackjack
Professional Blackjack players will love this feature of Pontoon. When you’re dealt 2 cards that add to 21, meaning you’ve been dealt a Pontoon, you’ll automatically stick. This is incredibly useful for players that field multiple deals at the same time. You can save time while playing, improving your overall rate and win percentage, if you know how to play correctly, of course.
The interface for Pontoon is easy to use and pleasant to look at. Place your bets using the coloured chips, then hit deal to start playing. The cards you’re currently playing are illuminated, and your options are always listed in the center of the screen in bright colours. The best way to play is to have a go, so try Pontoon out today!

The Pontoon Pro Blackjack Rules
Pontoon is played with 6 regular decks. Like regular Blackjack, number cards (2-10) count as face value, aces count as 1 or 11, and face cards (kings, queens, jacks) are worth 10. Here’s where it gets interesting: The dealer must draw to 16 and must stick on a hand if it is a hard 17 (a hand without an ace, or a hand with an ace that can only have the value of one). Alternatively, the dealer must twist on a hand that is a soft 17 (i.e. a hand with an ace that can be counted as either 1 or 11 without busting, or going over 21). Like the traditional game, a hand wins if its value is closer to 21 than the dealer’s. Unlike conventional Blackjack, a hand automatically sticks when it’s a Pontoon – in other words, a hard where the first two cards (including split cards) are an ace and a card with a value of ten. The hand will also automatically stick if it as a hard 21 or a 5 Card Trick (i.e. a hand of 5 cards totalling 21 or less).

The crisp and clear layout makes getting started simple. When you click ‘Deal’ the cards will be dealt – face up to you and face down to the dealer. Once you decide to stand on the hand (or hands), the result is made visible above the cards. At this point the chips are distributed according to the payout rules. Before the next round starts, you will be given the option to re-bet with the same amount in the same table sections, or, alternatively, to place a new bet. To really make the game interesting, players are also given the opportunity to up the ante by splitting or buying. If you opt to buy, you will double your initial bet. Keep in mind you must have no more than 4 cards and you can buy only once per round. If you decide to split, you will split two cards of equal rank into two new hands. These options will become visible if the chance to split or buy presents itself.
If you wish to remove a bet, just click the desired chip and then click the betting area in which you wish to place your bet. Each click increases the bet value. To remove a bet select the chip with the red cross and then click the betting area with the incorrect bet. You’ll see the whole bet is removed and you can place a new one.
