That USC defense that stopped Notre Dame cold last season is now gone. Having said that, the more I look at USC the more I'm beginning to like them as a darkhorse contender this year. I'm not quite as high on Sanchez as the NFL is. I think that either of these two kids coming in to take his place will be better. Just my opinion.

On the other side of the ball, USC returns their entire OL. ND's DL is a huge question mark.

GS, I see USC a lot like Oklahoma in the since that a lot of the guys that are new starters this year are better then the guys they replaced...I was never high on Clay Mathews Jr or Brian Cushing...I think they capitalized big time on a great d-line...even the guy replacing Rey-Rey is supposed to be a beast...

And I completely agree about Sanchez....I know this wasn't his fault...but was he under pressure at all last season? I'm guessing his uni didn't need to get washed very much...I think he'll be very good in the long run, just not for a couple of seasons...
