Giuliani's Latest Defense Of Trump May Prove That He's Off His Rocker

Rudy Giuliani offered a defense of Donald Trump this past weekend that it prompted speculation about his mental acuity. Giuliani said that he is sticking by "squeaky clean" Trump, and said that the man has never been proven to have committed fraud, ever. That's obviously a lie, as both Trump University and the Trump Organization have been found by the courts to have committed fraud. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

During his radio show this past weekend, Rudy Giuliani made a statement so bizarre and so untethered from reality that I had no choice but to question whether or not Rudy Giuliani was even mentally stable at this point. Here's what happened. During a conversation with his co-host, uh, Dr. Maria Ryan Giuliani started talking about the fact that Donald Trump, as he puts it, is the least corrupt businessman in the entire state of New York. He says that not once in his life was Donald Trump ever shown to have cheated anyone. Statements that are categorically false. I mean, based on just recent news, they're categorically false, but Giuliani stands by them. Let me read you the exchange that happened. Giuliani said, quote, he's not corrupt, at least as far as we know, right? To which Giuliani responded, he's had 40 million investigations and nothing's come out. They did an investigation of 20 to 30 years of his business dealings in New York, and this is what they came up with. Some stupid, ridiculous non-disclosure agreement, which every New York businessman has, which was about a personal matter, not a business matter. They couldn't come up with him cheating somebody. It's the reason I supported him. You think I'm a? Who the hell do you think understands criminals and non-criminals in this city? Better than anybody? I knew that tr Donald Trump was for a New York businessman about as clean as they get. New York Attorney General, they got a guilty verdict against the Trump Organization. Rudy, why? Because they cheated. Donald Trump is under indictment right now in the city of New York and State of New York. Of course. Why? Because, yeah. It was a personal matter that he turned into a business matter by falsifying the business documents. You liar. Didn't cheat anybody. Huh? Why don't you go ask a graduate a Trump University if Donald Trump never cheated anybody? How about you ask the people suing the president and his kids for those video phones that they were selling in that little pyramid scheme? Trump has cheated many people over the course of many decades, Rudy, and you know that. You know that, and you are sitting there being incredulous, getting angry because nobody understands that Donald Trump has never done anything wrong. He's literally done wrong, and he's literally being prosecuted for it, man. He has been sued for it and lost. These are verifiable facts. So either you are outright lying to your audience because you think that they are stupid or You've lost your mind and you don't remember that all of these horrible things happened. I don't know which one it is. Either you're a liar or you have, you know, early stages of dementia, possibly, in which case you need to seek help, but that's the reality, Rudy. You don't get to make it up as you go along. You don't get to rewrite history to suit your agenda, which by the way, his agenda right now is to get Trump elected so he can become Secretary of State. He actually mentioned that in a recent interview with Steve Bannon. He thinks Rudy Giuliani does, that he's gonna be given a cushy job in the Trump administration, even though Donald Trump refused to do so in the first Trump administration. And last we heard, Trump still hasn't paid Rudy Giuliani's legal bills for all of his attempts to overturn the election, which might end up getting Rudy Giuliani disbarred. Giuliani might be delusional. I mean, if he is holding onto these hopes that Trump is going to take care of him after Trump has thrown
